We've been pretty disappointed with the quality of the videos posted on this site, particularly since we're shooting the videos with a high-definition (HD) camera. After conferring with some new friends, we decided to try out a new way of posting videos, using the vimeo.com website. All seemed to be going smoothly, except after uploading to vimeo, we noticed that there wasn't any sound. It seems that we'll need to get some proper video editing software to get both sound and video. In the meantime, enjoy this "silent movie" of Max in his baby pool (shot July 12, 2009). [Note to the Swans: It looks like we'll be a Mac family before too long!]
Even though the video below isn't in HD, it is still a vast improvement over the earlier videos. To see the video in full screen and in HD, click here to go directly to the video in vimeo. For full screen, point your mouse at the video screen, right click your mouse and select "full screen". To turn on the HD quality, hit the "HD is OFF" button on the screen. It will take longer to load.
